GUEST VIEWING NIGHT

Up to ONE of your camper's parent/guardians and ONE additional guest (e.g., second parent/guardian, sibling, relative, friend, etc.) are invited to observe camp on day 2 (Tuesday, June 30) in the SHS Field House. All guests will be required to check in, and non-flash photography will be permitted during the 30-minute viewing. Guest check-in will begin at 7:30 PM, and camp doors will open no later than 8:00 PM.

HAVE YOU PURCHASED YOUR LIMITED-EDITION CAMP MERCH YET?

Don't miss your chance to order Jalen Brunson and camp merchandise while supplies last! Orders placed today will be given to your camper at checkout tonight.

Proceeds from every purchase support the Jalen Brunson Patriot Wellness Initiative (JBPWI), providing under-resourced students with equitable access to the tools and resources they need to succeed at Stevenson and beyond.

CAMPER RULES & EXPECTATIONS

  1. Punctuality is key: Campers should arrive by 5:50 PM each day to check in, suit up, and be ready to go at 6:00 PM.

  2. We are one big team, let’s look like it: Campers are required to wear a JBYBC shirt every day. Not to worry – you’ll receive two this year to make life (and laundry) a little easier.

  3. Come prepared to play: Campers must wear appropriate athletic clothing and footwear at all times.

  4. You’re here to grow as a person, not get autographs: Campers should not make individual requests of Mr. Brunson. If campers have questions, they should speak with their coach and/or one of our camp staff.

  5. Be a good teammate and sport: Treat teammates, opponents, and coaches with respect. Win graciously and congratulate opponents regardless of the outcome or score.

  6. Be positive: Prioritize your team’s success above individual glory.

  7. Stay hydrated: Campers will receive a water bottle on day one that they should use on days two and three of camp. Food is not permitted in the SHS Field House and/or Sports Center.

  8. Unplug to make the most of the experience: Cell phones and tablets must be put away in bags or backpacks as soon as camp begins each day.

  9. Leave spaces better than you find them: Campers are expected to clean up after themselves and are responsible for stolen or willfully damaged camp gear and signage and/or SHS facilities.

  10. Show up as the person you strive to be: Profanity, fighting, horseplay, or bullying of any kind is strictly prohibited. Infractions may result in removal from the remainder of the camp experience.

PARENT/GUARDIAN EXPECTATIONS

  1. Submit camp waivers via DocuSign: To ensure that your camper can make the most of the experience, please submit all required releases and waivers no later than Wednesday, June 24. Campers will not be permitted to participate until all releases and waivers are received by Stevenson Foundation staff.

  2. Support your camper’s success: Review all expectations and camp rules with your camper before they arrive on day one.

  3. Make sure they’re ready to go: Please make sure your camper comes prepared each day – this includes wearing one of their JB Camp shirts and appropriate athletic wear and bringing their ball and camp water bottle.

  4. Punctuality is key: Please drop campers off no later than 5:50 PM each night so that they can check in, suit up, and be ready to go at 6:00 PM, and arrive by 8:00 PM on Monday and 8:30 PM on Tuesday and Wednesday to pick up your camper.

  5. Speaking of drop off and pick up: Both the SHS Field House and Sports Center have circular driveways that allow you to safely drop off your camper without getting out of your car. Please don’t park and/or come in during drop off and pick up.

  6. Please don’t ‘stop by’: In order to make the most of the camp experience, we need campers’ and coaches' undivided attention while camp is in session. No outside visitors will be permitted.

  7. Please join us for Guest Viewing Night: We invite up to ONE of your camper's parent/guardians and ONE additional guest (e.g., second parent/guardian, sibling, relative, friend, etc.) to observe camp from 8:00 - 8:30 PM on day 2. Non-flash photography will be permitted during the 30 minutes of viewing.
