Jalen Brunson Patriot Wellness Initiative

Ensuring equitable access to essentials and knowledge needed to foster lifelong wellness practices.

By providing information, tools, and necessities in four key areas, the Jalen Brunson Patriot Wellness Initiative supports physical and mental wellness for financially under-resourced students. The Initiative's goal is to empower the next generation of Patriots, both students and families, to prioritize health and wellness practices so they may thrive in all aspects of their lives.

This extension of the One Family program includes expanded access to healthy food and nutrition information as well as essentials, such as athletic wear, shoes, and accessories, to enable an active lifestyle. The Initiative also provides families with basic medical supplies, access to physicals and vaccines, as well as mindfulness and relaxation support.

Movement

  • Patriot Wellness Center (PWC) orientation & one-on-one training sessions

  • Physical therapy & training support
