Class Gifts

How much do we need to give?

The class has not set a specific fundraising goal, but many reunion classes choose to establish one together as a way to build momentum and celebrate their collective impact. Whether the Class of 1976 raises $1,000 or $25,000, every gift will help support Stevenson students.

  • $25 supplies one week of toiletries and household essentials

  • $50 covers two weeks of daily hot breakfast for a student

  • $125 provides two weeks of groceries for a family of four

When many classmates participate, even modest gifts add up to meaningful support for students and families.

What types of gifts are accepted?

The Stevenson Foundation accepts several types of contributions, including:

  • Online gifts made by credit card through a dedicated class giving platform

  • Checks mailed to the Stevenson Foundation

  • Donor-advised fund (DAF) grants

  • Stock or appreciated securities

  • Matching gifts from employers

  • Multi-year pledges, which allow you to spread your contribution over time

All gifts are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law and directly support the Foundation’s work serving Stevenson students.

Can our class create an endowed fund?

Yes. If the Class of 1976 reaches $25,000, the gift can be used to establish an endowed fund supporting the One Family program. An endowment creates a lasting legacy, with investment earnings providing ongoing support for students each year. If the class does not reach the $25,000 threshold, the funds will still make an immediate impact as a one-time gift supporting the One Family program.

Donors will be recognized on the Stevenson Foundation Donor Wall, which honors individuals and groups who support the Foundation’s work. Class participation and generosity will also help demonstrate the lasting connection the Class of 1976 continues to have with Stevenson and its students.

How will donors be acknowledged?

A reunion is a meaningful opportunity to celebrate friendships and shared experiences. A class gift is a way to honor those memories while creating a lasting impact for today’s students. By coming together as the Class of 1976, you can support students who may need additional resources to thrive and leave a legacy that reflects the generosity and spirit of your class.

Why a class gift?

What will our gift support?

Gifts from the Class of 1976 will support the Stevenson Foundation’s One Family program, which helps ensure that every student has access to essential resources that support well-being and long-term success. The program assists students and families who may face financial challenges by helping provide items such as school supplies, activity fees, clothing, food, and other resources that allow students to fully participate in school life.
